Hey, thanks for agreeing to be a Featured Framer! First up, can we ask how long you’ve been coming to Frame?
My first Frame class was March 24, 2013, my mother’s birthday. I suppose it was kind of a birthday present to my mom–she always asks me (out of love) how much I exercise, and I never could say “more than once a week all right Mom? GOSH” consistently until I embraced Frame.
La mamma e sempre la mamma! What is it that keeps you coming back?
Isha’s smiling face, Robb’s curly bangs, and REN’s hand soap. Also, the location is super convenient for me, and I love the look and feel of the place. I’m most motivated with small classes, so I adore my off-peak privileges. The Frame app makes it very easy to manage my options and be spontaneous–I just booked my first Rebounding class, for instance!
If you had to pick a favourite class to get your #FrameFix, which would it be and why?
Favorite class of all time is Box Vibe (RIP and what do I do with my boxing gloves now?). Class I’m most liable to overdose on is reformer pilates. BoxFit with Jermaine! You won’t regret that one. So outside of Frame, what is it you do? I am head of operations for twosigmas, an education tech start-up focused on spreading awesome and effective education around the world. I am a volunteer events organizer for the Yale Club of London. Also, I founded a music friendship project called The Note Well, which Frame generously sponsored for a fitness-themed dance party. Finally, I love putting on tunes–I once DJed for Alexander McQueen’s office Christmas party! It delighted me when I once heard Aphex Twin during yoga, and I often make requests to Michelle LaFortune during “80s Fridays” pilates. #dontstopbelieving Wow! That’s some resume.
Last but not least, you’ve got one day in London to make the most of, how are you going to spend it?
Breakfast at Fabrique. Browsing at the Geffrey Museum. Pilates at Frame. Lunch at Rochelle Canteen. Facial at Cowshed. Korean at Dotori. Bowling, karaoke, arcade at Rowan’s. Yes, my perfect day ends in Finsbury Park. See you there!
