Heard of our Accredited 200hr Yoga Teacher Training Programme? It’s pretty mega (full 411 here) and so are the lead instructors…
We have two incredible Senior Yoga Teachers who will be guiding students through the training. Emily-Clare Hill and Michael James Wong, both experienced teachers in their own right, currently facilitation CEP and YACEP workshops, trainings and teaching programmes around the world. Our teachers work together regularly in the Yoga Community, bringing collectively 20 years of Yoga teaching experience. Their bios can be found separately on the Frame YTT page of our website.
Both Teachers are SYTs and have delivered many other YTT 200 hr courses in the past, along with working on their own projects; Boys of Yoga, JUST BREATHE and Sunday School (a post-grad Yoga teacher training course).
Emily-Clare fell in love with dancing and movement in her early teens when dance became her meditation and escape. It wasn’t until stage school that she became familiar with yoga and her journey toward becoming an instructor began.
As she tried many styles of practice, Emily’s passion for the myriad benefits of different styles of yoga grew; it’s this variety and intelligent creativity which was the catalyst for her decision to become a yoga teacher… From the freedom of flow found in a Vinyasa practice to focusing on the breath in Ashtanga, with the structure of Iyengar when necessary, and the body mechanics of Anusara.
Emily trained under Vidya Heisel and is now a 500hr Advanced Teacher. Alongside Michael James Wong, Emily co-founded instructor community project Sunday School Yoga and is currently facilitating CEP & YACEP workshops, and global trainings and teaching programmes for the likes of Frog Lotus International.
Emily has become a big part of London’s yoga community, teaching intelligent strong creative classes, certified in Anatomy and Physiology enhancing her understanding of the body and practice, giving more space to explore and deepen the practice both physically and mentally.
Emily believes the marks of a good teacher are devotion, humility, compassion and service and that the practice on the mat is the practice for the real life off the mat.
