SW1 is being put on the fitness map with our fourth studio opening in Victoria in April 2016. It’s literally only a 20-second walk away from Victoria station is ideal for local residents, those of you who work in and around the area and those of you who commute in and out of Victoria.

Having launched our first studio in Shoreditch in 2009, followed by Queens Park in 2012 and Kings Cross in 2015, we’re ready to take on SW1 and we’ll be the first to have a pay-as-you-go drop-in service. No contracts, no joining fees, just drop-in whenever you want! So what’s all the Victoria goss? Founders of Frame Pip Black and Joan Murphy are on the blog today to talk all things Victoria and we give you a sneak peak of our new timetable.

Pip Black and Joan Murphy. The dynamic duo who opened their first Frame studio in 2009 in Shoreditch are opening their fourth studio in Victoria in just under 6 weeks! Gym kit at the ready people of SW1, we’ll have 30-minute classes, workshops, events and we have no joining fee.

The fun is spreading around London and SW1 are now going to get a taste of Frame. Pip and Joan, Why did you choose to open your fourth studio in Victoria?
Victoria is ideal for the residents of SW1, for the people who work in Victoria or near and those who commute through Victoria station.

Are the classes in Victoria going to be similar to your other three studios?
Victoria will comprise of three studios including reformer Pilates, yoga/Barre and a soundproof fitness studio. And just like Queens Park, Kings Cross and Shoreditch we’ll have sweaty high-intensity classes such as Body by Frame, Box Fit and Kettlebells, classes where you can let loose and party like 80s Aerobics, Bend it Like Barbie, Music Video and Dance Cardio and restorative classes including Reformer Pilates, yoga and meditation. In addition, we’re also introducing new 30-minute classes to our timetable so those Framers who can only fit in a lunchtime quickie, can! And Frame Victoria is literally 20 steps away from the station.

What’s your favourite class to:
1. Get your heart rate up: Box Fit, Total Body and HIIT PT
2. Something to do with a friend: Dance Cardio, Punch & Pad, all of our dance workshops!
3. To relax and to stretch out: Restorative/Yin Yoga, Reformer Pilates and Meditation

We know you’re opening a café and a shop in your Victoria site (we love the protein pancakes #Yummo), why have you chosen to branch out into these areas as well as being a fitness studio?
We wanted to be more than just a fitness studio and wanted our Framers to have the whole experience when they come to us. That means getting a sweat on, fuelling with a smoothie or pancakes and updating their workout wardrobe with all of our great activewear brands.

We can’t help but ask, but after your successful collaboration with Whistles will you be creating a new clothing collection in the near future?
Our first collection was really successful so we’re pairing with Whistles again and launch a second collection in May 2016!

If I work in Victoria and live in Shoreditch or Kings Cross, can I go to any Frame or do I have to stick to just one?
Whether you’re just drop-in or a member you can go to any of our studios and work out – so there’s no excuse wherever you are!

You opened Kings Cross in October, and Victoria is coming in April, any plans of opening more studios in 2016?
We’re keen to get outside of London so growth plans for the long term are quite big. We hope to open two gyms per year including Brighton, Bristol and Manchester. And within the next 5 years we hope to go global!
