DUVET DAY YIN
A Yin class for when you need a massive hug and to release tension in the body and mind. Expect to hold longer poses for a gentle but consistent stimulation of connective tissues in the body. Use your duvet and pillow and ramp up the comfy vibes.
FOR THE MIND
In Yin you can hold postures from 3 - 5 minutes at a time, usually with your eyes closed. This 'me' time will give you time with your thoughts and a great way to meditate. It also trains the mind to be comfortable with the uncomfortable until it passes - a great lesson to take off the mat.
FOR THE BODY
Yin yoga is the perfect body balancer for a busy and active life. You will hold poses between 3-5 minutes which can feel uncomfortable but it helps to soften tight muscles and targets the deep connective tissues of the body. It increases circulation and improves flexibilty.
