GOOD THINGS HAPPEN WHEN YOU MOVE YOUR FRAME

JUMPBOARD REFORMER PILATES

Ready to take your Pilates to the next level? This class mixes ‘intervals’ of jumping (low impact cardio using the jumpboard) with your classic Pilates exercises. Heavy springs will work on your power and increase your heart-rate, whilst light springs provide a deep core workout like no other! Not suitable for beginners, prenatal or rehab.

For the mind

Mastering jumping horizontally on the Reformer bed and learning new moves and sequences is actually training your brain, improving your memory and cognitive function. Next time you're embarrassed about how loud your Pilates breathing is, know that deep, controlled breathing is doing wonders for your nervous system.

For the body

Jumpboard Reformer Pilates is a full-body workout that adds a serious element of cardio and power to the strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance you would expect from a Reformer Pilates class. Jumping on light springs will seriously fire up your deep stabiliser muscles that will stabilise your spine, pelvis and core. Jumping on heavy springs will elevate your heart rate, and give you a serious muscle fatigue (burn) in the lower body, with a focus on power as you push away from the jumpboard, and controlling the bed as it returns to the stopper.
