REFORMER PILATES: UPPER BODY

A targeted version of our Power Pilates class. Working on large and small muscles this class will improve upper body alignment & stability, focusing on your arms and core to leave you feeling strong and supple. Please attend 3 beginner classes first.

For the mind

Mastering the Reformer bed and learning new moves and sequences is actually training your brain, improving your memory and cognitive function. Next time you're embarrassed about how loud your Pilates breathing is know that deep, controlled breathing is doing wonders for your nervous system.

For the body

This Reformer Pilates class with an upper body focus will target the chest, back, arms and abs, obliques and most importantly you will move your spine. Although the emphasis will be on the upper body the class will also target overall strength, flexibility, coordination and balance so expect to combine upper body with some full or lower body moves at some points in the class.
