What was your journey to becoming an instructor? How the hell did you get here?
I originally trained and performed as a Musical Theatre Actress. I auditioned at Frame between acting jobs and never looked back!
What’s your favourite way to keep a healthy body and a healthy mind?
Workout when you’re able to, eat some food that you love, some food that your body loves and work to live, not live to work!
How does your choice of exercise fit/help your day to day life?
I’m a naturally high energy person. I NEED to channel that energy into moving else I feel horrible and rattly!
What is your signature style?
Probably best known for my high-intensity cardio classes. Just keep in mind that though I also LOVE this style of training, we should balance out high impact work with Low impact training such as Yoga or Pilates and Resistance/weight training to regulate or hormones & look after our joints (amongst other things).
What people think I don’t see when my back is turned…
People stopping at 4. You keep going until I say 1. UNTIL I SAY 1 GOSHDAMNIT!!!
What’s your favourite way to feel good fitness-wise and life wise?
I like to have a really good life/train balance. Working out is absolutely necessary for my sanity! But so is pizza and cocktails with the girls. So I’ll tend to work hard & play as hard/harder.
Pizza. Not guilty. NEVER feel guilty about Pizza.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
If you’re not happy about something in your life: change it. You’ll never be as young as you are right now. Don’t waste it.
