What makes your class so f’cking awesome?
My classes are dynamic and playful with an emphasis on breathwork and creative transitions...expect a firey build up to a balancing posture or inversion and a soft yummy slow down to savasana.
What was your journey to becoming an instructor? How the hell did you get here?
After practicing for nearly 10 years I decided I wanted to learn more about the philosophical and theoretical side of yoga. I have always been interested in the asana practice but after training as a teacher with FRAME, I am more aware of the deeper influences and roots of yoga, which have enhanced my sequencing and attitude towards practice.
What is your signature move?
Pincha mayurasana...we can have so much fun with this posture and all the variations, I love teaching strength building drills leading up to the posture but remember not to be frustrated if you don't nail it straight away and falling out is not as dramatic as you think!
What does your downtime look like?
Listening to Taylor Swift's latest album, swimming outdoors and cooking Italian
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
Be kind always - have compassion for everyone, no matter their circumstances or attitude...(except in navasana where being kind goes out the window!)
If you weren’t an Instructor, what would you be?
I would be a merman, living in the ocean, ruling the seas and posing on rocks
