Instructors
BEX PARKER SMITH

What makes your class so f’cking awesome?
You! Sadly there’s no way to say that without sounding cheesy, but I mean it. Yoga is a practice of joining together all the facets of who you are – mind, body, soul – so I truly believe that time on the mat is solely yours. Sure, I’m there to guide you, but my main aim in class is to have you walking off the mat feeling a little more in love with yourself than before.
What was your journey to becoming an instructor? How the hell did you get here?
After a long period of pretty crappy mental health, I decided to try yoga after little else had worked. I stumbled into a FRAME yoga class, got hooked and haven’t look backed since. The practice put me back together, helped me find balance and wanting to share that with other people was what inspired me to teach. I did my first 200 hour training with FRAME and the day after we graduated I was made redundant from my office job – I took that as a sign from the universe that I was meant to teach and well… here I am!
What is your signature style?
Creative yet intelligent sequencing that’s inspired by philosophy and designed to make you feel. I think so many of us get caught up in having the perfect, Insta-friendly asana that we take ourselves too seriously and forget Yoga is so much more than what happens on the mat. When you stop chasing a pose, the practice opens up all these incredible doors into yourself. It’s amazing.
What makes you, you?
I’m a pintsized firecracker. What I lack in height, I make up for in energy (and freckles).
What does your downtime look like?
Exploring Hampstead Heath, dancing around to ABBA Gold, tracking down the best banana bread in London.
If you weren’t an Instructor, what would you be??
A vet! I love animals and have my own baby snow leopard (aka a 7kg cat!) called Rolo at home.
