What makes your class so f'ing awesome?
I absolutely love moving my body but I’m also big on technique so I will make sure your muscles are working the way they should during each exercise. This is pretty important when you’re pregnant or newly postnatal so that you get the most out of the workout without injuring yourself.
What was your journey to becoming an instructor? How the hell did you get here?
I have been into exercise my whole life but didn’t train in fitness until quite late in life. I specialise in pre- and postnatal recovery and strength and this is partly due to my own journey into becoming a mother. I’m passionate about helping mums-to-be and mums be as strong and healthy as they possibly can be - physically as well as mentally.
Who’s your fitness hero? Why?
Pink! Because she is strong, brave and kick-ass! She does the most amazing acrobatics on stage while singing live so I think she’s pretty awesome.
What is your signature move / style?
I’m a big fan of squats as they are so versatile. I love banded squats to work the glute med. Most people’s knees cave in when doing this but I quickly help to set them straight.I also like slowing squats down to feel the burn.
What makes you, you?
I am Swedish by blood but my soul is distinctly Spanish - I love the language, the music, the culture and the people.
What does your downtime look like?
I love horse-riding at full speed across open grassland although I go slightly less crazy these days since becoming a mum.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
Don’t compare your inside to someone else’s outside.
If you weren’t an Instructor, what would you be?
I would love to be a musical theatre artist or a vet.
