What makes your class so f’cking awesome?

I teach a challenging yet playful class to bring you out of your comfort zone! We'll flow through a dynamic breath led class to help you find your moving meditation before settling into pure blissful stillness. I see the physical practice as a journey from outward physical expression into an exploration and expansion of your own inner landscape, uniting mind, body & spirit.

What was your journey to becoming an instructor? How the hell did you get here?

I came to yoga after working in the mental health sector. I'd always wanted to find a way to facilitate people's healing & self transformation in a holistic way. I found yoga to be a beautiful way to work with both mind & body, healing an often severed relationship between the two.

What is your signature style?

I love a strong & dynamic, breath led class with lots of opportunities to play with arm balances & inversions. You don't need to have an advanced practice to try them out, there's so many ways to build your strength beforehand! I love the challenge they bring, seeing people break through mental barriers, find the fun in the exploration & laugh through the falls. In a great class, I think these can be made accessible to all levels.

What does your downtime look like?

My downtime involves being in nature, cuddling my two dogs & eating ALL the vegan food!

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

Nothing lasts but nothing is lost. Change should be embraced as part of the natural flow of life.

If you weren’t an Instructor, what would you be??

If I wasn't a yoga teacher, I'd be a therapist! I'm hoping to start a masters in psychotherapy within the next year or so & will be combining this with my knowledge of yoga to create a holistic mind, body & spirit practice.
