What makes your class so f’cking awesome?
My classes are challenging, inclusive (for everyone and all levels) and most importantly fun! I have creative and well thought-out class plans. There’s always an eclectic playlist with a couple of nostalgic tunes thrown in! I will work you hard and encourage you to push yourself and do it with a smile on my face 🙂
Who’s your fitness hero?
Everyone who gets their ass to class!
What is your signature style?
I always take my clients through a thorough cool down and stretch at the end of class – this is so important guys!
When you exhale push a little deeper into the stretch – breath out when you are working the hardest! This also applies to weight lifting, sit ups, push ups etc.
Stretching allows for your muscles to return to their regular length (as they contract during a workout) Stretching after a hard class also allows for your heart rate to return to normal and gives you a moment to reflect and relax, setting the tone for the rest of your day.
What does your downtime look like?
Walks in Kew Gardens or Richmond Park and travelling the world as much as possible!
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
The world is big and you are wonderful.
If you weren’t an Instructor, what would you be?
Been there, done that – I decided that it wasn’t for me!
