What makes your class so f’cking awesome?

The combination of music to get your head nodding and a variety of movements programmed to challenge you from start to finish, leaving you with an endorphin high as you leave!

What was your journey to becoming an instructor? How the hell did you get here?

I started at university when I was 18 studying to become a PT and it snowballed from there once I realized how much I love waking up and being able to help people develop themselves in a fun and constantly changing environment. I’ve constantly increased my knowledge with Pilates, yoga and strength and conditioning since those early steps at university.

What’s your favourite way to keep a healthy body and a healthy mind?

I really believe meditation is the best tool around, with so much screen time and contact with the outside world, spending some time for yourself and taking stock of your own present circumstances can work wonders in the short and long term.

How does your choice of exercise fit/help your day to day life?

I try to fit in a small workout 5 times a week, mostly to keep myself fit and healthy and to give myself some stress relief, nothing helps like a training session where you push yourself outside your comfort zone.

What is your signature style?

I aim to deliver a challenging workout backed by science (I do have a degree and 12 years experience!). The biggest mistake made is not trusting the workout/process, the reason I’ll say run at this speed or lift the weight is because I know it is possible and balanced with the rest of the session, my biggest advice is trust what I say!

Guilty pleasure?

Anything salted caramel, literally anything.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

Trust the process, basically enjoy what you’re doing and the end result will come
