What makes your class so f’cking awesome?
In our Pilates sessions, we will strive for “Progression not Perfection” we will work through the Pilates movement sequence looking to deepen our knowledge, improve flexibility, build strength and develop control and endurance in the entire body. We will put emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance.
What was your journey to becoming an instructor? How the hell did you get here?
I’ve been Practicing and teaching Pilates for over 7 years, everything in My life revolves around the discipline, simply because it’s my true passion I have a fully comprehensive modern Pilates certification, means I’m qualified to teach on all apparatus Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chairs and Barrels. I’m also qualified in my pre and postnatal training and hold a great understanding of what the female body needs to help prepare and recover when having a child.
How does your choice of exercise fit/help your day to day life?
Pilates is my holistic lifestyle. It teaches me to move better and keeps my body fit and mobile.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
If you always do what you’ve always done. You’ll always get what you’ve always got. Meaning…… you’re the master of your life of something isn’t right change something.
