Born and raised in a small town in the US Pacific Northwest, Jess has led a rather unconventional life- living and working throughout Africa and Asia as an international aid worker. It was while living on a remote island in South Korea that Jess found yoga. Her travels eventually led her to attend the London School of Economics in 2010 and she’s been here ever since. Jess realised that yoga was a natural extension to life as an aid worker, where changing the world first begins with investing in the betterment of ourselves. Jess soon packed her things and travelled to India to train with the Yoga People in Ashtanga and Rocket. Her classes bring a unique emphasis on karma yoga as it naturally extends from increased self-empowerment and awareness. Fun yet challenging, her classes are delivered in both English and Sanskrit to upbeat music that is designed to pace the tempo and emotional pace of the asana sequence.
