What makes your class so f’cking awesome?

What was your journey to becoming an instructor? How the hell did you get here?
I studied Dance at university in Florida. Since moving to London and hitting up that performer life, I realised I wasn’t being fulfilled in what I was doing. Since becoming an instructor I’ve never felt more alive! I still get to create and perform in a way every day but what makes it better is doing it all with you guys!

What’s your favourite way to keep a healthy body and a healthy mind?
Balance, all THE WAY! I never deprive myself of things (like chocolate or a cocktail at the weekend). Daily I choose healthy options because I genuinely enjoy them and I LOVE to move. Movement is key. Movement is medicine.

How does your choice of exercise fit/help your day to day life?
I tend to focus on different ways of training to what I’ve taught that day to stay clear of repetitive movements on my body. Recently I’ve been focusing on endurance training and trying to get my running game back in action. It’s humbling to remember you CANNOT store fitness. And I enjoy new challenges.

What is your signature move?
Oh I love a reverse lunge combo. Biggest pointer is to go big or go home! Don’t be scared to create bigger shapes! 90 degree knees when you step back, and get low. Exhale as you stand engaging posterior of your standing leg and REPEAT. Or book up to my classes I’m sure you’ll see them at some point!
