What makes your class so f’cking awesome?
All my classes are infused with a positivity, fun and absolutely no judgement. I teach with a clear aim of getting clients to crush their goals and, to the higher level exercises as soon and safely as possible. I do this by crafting individualised classes based on Classical Pilates
What was your journey to becoming an instructor? How the hell did you get here?
I was a dancer, then a yoga teacher and the To Pilates and I’ve found my groove with Pilates, it still inspires me today, it really is for everybody
Who’s your fitness hero?
Oh anyone who has fun while doing it. Even my mother in law at 75 still competes in the masters swims, she loves it, she travels for it and meets friends and it gives her a sense of purpose and drive, that’s what I find inspiring, finding a way to make fitness fun and part of your lifestyle for the long run.
What is your signature move / style?
With Pilates it's often the tiny things that kick your butt. I love the
What does your downtime look like?
Hmm, downtime, if I’m till awake after I put my two daughters to bed, I will likely read or do a bit of studying.
How does your choice of exercise fit/help your day to day life?
Consistence and scheduling is key for me, even if it’s a 20 minute jog or a small Mat work Pilates class at home, turning up and doing little and often really does pay off, its less daunting.
What’s your favourite way to keep a healthy body and a healthy mind?
Planning ahead. I usually schedule my classes a week or so ahead of time so I know exactly when I can workout each day. Otherwise it’s so easy to bypass my own needs and I’m always happier and calmer when I’ve made even a tiny space for myself.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
There is no magic pill, you just have to persist and practice ( whatever it is you want to learn/ be better at)
If you weren’t an Instructor, what would you be??
Oh, I have many pipe dreams, the current dream is a whimsical florist.

What’s your favourite way to feel good fitness-wise and life wise?
I love working out with friends, it’s the absolute best motivation for me. I love dance cardio, in fact that’s how I celebrated my 40th birthday, lots of friends and a dance class, it was joyous.
