What was your journey to becoming an instructor? How the hell did you get here?

Fashion PR Director turned Yoga Instructor… turned to the ‘light’ side!

What’s your favourite way to keep a healthy body and a healthy mind?

I go through phases but always like to mix my routine up. I’m currently obsessed with sound baths, pilates and running. Can usually be found cycling around London with my yoga mat strapped to my back too. My daily yoga practice is consistent and keeps me sane!

How does your choice of exercise fit/help your day to day life?

I feel both settled and energised after yoga/sound healing/fitness classes. They keep me focused and grounded. If I’m pushed for time, I’ll make sure I jump on my bike instead of using public transport or jump on a treadmill after teaching a class.

What is your signature move?

I always have a guided Savasana with links back to the breath. Savasana is super key in all styles of yoga and is sometimes rushed in the West. I wind down with body and breath cues and either play a soothing soundtrack or create my own sound healing music to finish the session with a mind-body relaxation.

What’s your favourite way to feel good fitness-wise and life wise?

Waking up late on a Saturday morning, going to a Yoga class and having brunch outside somewhere with friends.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

Do whatever you want, and don’t let anyone hold you back.
