Lucy found yoga 4 years ago when she was working in New York City. Tucked away in Harlem, the studio provided a place to check back in with herself and recharge, away from the distractions of the busy corporate world.
On returning to the UK, she continued to explore her practice and personal style, connecting strongly with Vinyasa flow which sparked her interest in giving back to the yoga community. She trained with Frog Lotus Yoga in Suryalila, Spain and once back in London, began sharing the experience.
Lucy aims to make the practice of yoga accessible to everyone. Creating a reflective space and bringing attention to the way in which we can move our bodies without judgement, to find focus amongst our thoughts. Her colourful sequencing and linking of breath through music, will encourage you to make your practice your own, with the aim of reconnecting both on and off the mat.
If I wasn’t a yoga teacher I’d be a… florist and full-time crazy cat lady.
My favourite place in London for a stiff drink is… Chambers, Victoria Park Village – accompanied by the ultimate veggie mezze platter
My ideal breakfast is… a skinny latte with two sugars (it’s all about that sweet start to the day), with poached eggs on toast.
The song that’s in heavy rotation on my workout playlist… Freed From Desire by GALA
My favourite time of day is… any time that involves a bit of self love; bath time/personal yoga practice/face mask-ing/nail painting/reading etc etc – it’s super important to have that ‘me time’.
My favourite on the go snack is… anything dipped in hummus
My biggest release is… yoga followed by food and drinks with friends.
