What was your journey to becoming an instructor? How the hell did you get here?

A very condensed version – after working as a PT and group exercise instructor since the age of 16 I had a hiatus from fitness to work as a PA, during which time an injury led me to join Frame as a member as part of my rehab. As cheesy as it sounds the classes reminded me how much I had enjoyed teaching and the rest, as they say, is history.

What’s your favourite way to keep a healthy body and a healthy mind?

Just to move. Running, swimming, Pilates, dancing ( badly) I have found it is the best thing for body and mind for me.

Who’s your fitness hero? Why?

Shona Vertue. Her focus on technique and general approach to fitness and life gives you hope in what can be a very fickle, shallow industry.
