What makes your class so f’cking awesome?
My classes are fun and action-packed with great music, designed to improve core strength, while toning every part of your body (you will also get the abs and the butt you’ve always wanted).
What was your journey to becoming an instructor? How the hell did you get here?
After 20 years in the corporate world of recruitment agencies, I decided to retrain and focus on my passion of health, fitness and wellbeing.
Who’s your fitness hero? Why?
Caroline Tate, my pilates trainer & mentor. Caroline took my training and pilates knowledge to another level. She is still my go-to person for information and guidance. Caroline owns and runs her own studios in Melbourne Australia.
What is your signature move?
Legs and abs are my favourite parts of the body to work with. Training sessions with me are never easy, but I develop my own new programs that are fun, exciting and challenging with a big emphasis on building strength.
Something we didn’t know?
I brought a Lordship many years ago in Oz for fun and to this day on all my Australian documents, credit card & drivers licence etc, all have “Lord Small” printed on the front.
What does your downtime look like?
Adventure, Can’t stand being home on day’s off, you’ll find me staying with friends or travelling around the uk.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
Knowledge should be shared.
If you weren’t an Instructor, what would you be??
An actor (probably an out-of-work one) .. maybe will stick with reformer pilates !
