What was your journey to become a Master Trainer at Frame?

I have been with Frame since 2018 and I have loved every minute of it. I started teaching fitness classes first, such as Boxfit, Rebounding, Ass n’ abs and Lift, but I fairly quickly transitioned to the Train Room. I am a personal trainer and my main focus is Strength & Conditioning and so teaching classes that are focusing exactly on that was, and still is, the perfect fit for me! I simply love seeing my clients getting more confident lifting heavy weights, improving their form and transforming their lives for the better. I love sharing my knowledge with others and so to become a Master Trainer feels like a natural progression for me. I am forever grateful for this opportunity and I am so excited to see what the future brings. For me, and for us at Frame :)

What makes your class so f’cking awesome?

High energy, good vibes only, challenging but fun! I am also big on technique! Moving with proper form is always number one priority in my classes and I always make sure I keep an eye on every single Framer in class. My motto is “Quality over quantity!”

What was your journey to becoming an instructor? How the hell did you get here?

My dad was an athletic coach so I’ve been doing sports all my life. I stood on skis for the first time when I was 3 years old, I played basketball for about 7 years and I also did athletics for about 6 years (not mentioning all the other sports I did in between). I started dancing when I was 15 which became my main focus for years, but fitness (accidentally) drew me back in. I did my qualification in Australia as I had to study “something” to get my VISA, and to be doing something active seemed like the right choice for me. And thank goodness I did that!! It made me realize how much I love teaching and how much I love helping others on their fitness journey. Helping others to become stronger, fitter and healthier feels like a gift and I am SO very grateful I can say I truly love my job!

What’s your favourite way to keep a healthy body and a healthy mind?

100% by moving my frame and by finding enough time for myself, my friends and family. Another huge thing for me is spending enough time in nature. Mountains and forests are sacred places for me and nothing nourishes my soul more than spending time there, feeling one with our beautiful Mother Earth.

Who’s your fitness hero? Why?

My dad! He’s 78 years old now yet he is still very active. He can’t cycle (outside) or run anymore but he exercises every single day. Sometimes multiple times times per day! He’s very active in his garden and he swims as ofter as he can, and cross country skiing is his winter “thing”.

Something we didn’t know?

I’m a snowboarding instructor.
