Friday 5th June, 6:30pm
This 90min workshop will touch on the history on the origins of Yoga Nidra and how it works before a short Mindfulness Meditation.
“Yoga Nidra has been labelled ‘sleepless sleep’ since it teaches one to enter the state between sleep and wakefulness without losing awareness, often deemed a deep relaxation practice.
The workshop will consist of the several Yoga Nidra practices, some history on the origins of Yoga Nidra and how it works and a short Mindfulness Meditation.
Please wear comfortable clothing, some gentle postural practice expected. You may also want to avoid heavy meals an hour before the workshop and bring along extra layers to keep yourself warm and cosy as you ease into an evening of deep release and rejuvenation – the perfect end to your weekend.
