What makes your class so f’cking awesome?

Known as the smiley northerner, but rest assured I won’t be afraid to push you to your goal. My classes and energy will leave you feeling uplifted (and a little sore).

What was your journey to becoming an instructor? How the hell did you get here?

Having been a dancer my who life, and when I was younger a gymnast, keeping fit always just happened. But then life got in the way and I found myself just running on the treadmill to stay fit. It was a chore, and most importantly it wasn’t FUN! I needed to find the fun again when I re-found the fun, I decided I wanted to create that fun workout for others!

What’s your favourite way to keep a healthy body and a healthy mind?

I’m lucky that I have parents who have a great balance in life and they taught this to me from a young age. Healthy meals have always been normal to me, but so has eating a bar of chocolate when you want, because, well; why wouldn’t you? Being active gives you such a buzz. I do it for the buzz not the scales! Also, find people who make you laugh, daily.

What is your signature move?

I’d say my signature move is stretching!! My tip is that there is no magic to it, it just takes time and effort! Always do it with correct alignment, if you’re not sure, ask!

What people think I don’t see when my back is turned…

I see the people right at the back of Dance Cardio absolutely GOING FOR IT! They think I don’t notice, but I do. Hey, you’ve got good moves, don’t hide!

What’s your favourite way to feel good fitness wise & lifewise?

Set your alarm and get to the class, you ALWAYS feel better after. I have to tell this to my sleepy-morning- self every time. Appreciate the things you do have in life.
