What makes your class so f'ing awesome?
Each class is a fully immersive experience; the physical body is taken through a journey of surrendering and yielding using yin poses, breathwork and meditation, to invite a deepening of subtle body awareness. Every class is woven together using the powerful magic of sound, the carefully curated playlists and the soundscape of my Tibetan bowls enhance the deeply nourishing practices I share.
What was your journey to becoming an instructor? How the hell did you get here?
I have been practicing Yoga for my whole life, being raised in a household where all aspects of Yoga were very much interwoven culturally and ancestrally led me towards becoming a holistic therapist. I only undertook my TT a few years ago, without any intention to teach but I found a deep joy in sharing the deeper meaning of yoga to others that it just felt natural to begin offering classes publicly!
What is your signature move / style?
Any practice that invites a softening of the body, I find we are so wired into pushing and constantly moving in this busy world we inhabit, that we often struggle the most when asked to sit and rest. Its challenging to be still and surrender but it's something we all need a little more of.
What makes you, you?
I am an aromatherapist and body worker, I have been running my own holistic therapy business for 16 years. My practices often incorporate self massage and the safe use of essential oils, its been a wonderful way to interweave all of my passions together.
What does your downtime look like?
Nature is my medicine, i'm either tending to my overflowing balcony or wandering through secluded nature spots with my children.
If you weren’t an Instructor, what would you be??
I absolutely love guiding Yin & Sound sessions and offering body treatments, but if I could, I would be a gardener; hands deeply embedded in the earth is a dream.
