What makes your class so f’cking awesome?
Everybody is welcome and greeted with a smile. I am here to make you feel good (and of course to support you in getting those awesome core, ass, arms, etc). I am your smiley drill sergeant who pushes you to cross the line of being fine to being great and fabulous.
What was your journey to becoming an instructor? How the hell did you get here?
For almost 20 years, I performed as a dancer and actor for stage and television in Asia and UK; choreographed and directed dance teams and taught dance and performance in higher education. On my recent relocation back to London a suggestion from a good friend led me to Frame and to become a fitness instructor. I am just starting and so excited on this new adventure.
What’s your favourite way to keep a healthy body and a healthy mind?
It’s always about balance! I join high-intensity classes with gorgeous beats and rhythm and the next thing I am in a park walking or sitting quietly enjoying the sound of the trees and birds. You will catch me munching on my yummy salad and you’ll see me holding a nice large glass of Riesling!
How does your choice of exercise fit/help your day to day life?
Exercise and fitness kept me grounded and balanced for 20 years. It sets me for the day and gives me that good feeling that I am ready for whatever is thrown at me.
What is your signature style?
I am about enjoyment! My essential tip: ‘Put your own flavour and spice on those movements or exercises. If you want to put some honey or salt and pepper or chilli for you to enjoy it more…go for it! (of course, in good form and technique first haha).
