What makes your class so f'ing awesome?

A creatively thought out Vinyasa class building strength and mobility with a few challenges thrown in for a bit of fun!

What was your journey to becoming an instructor? How the hell did you get here?

I started practicing Yoga at Frame about 5 years ago when I was struggling for work life balance in a retail management career and it inspired me to go to train to become a teacher! I now have my own Yoga Studio alongside teaching at the place it all started!

Who’s your fitness hero? Why?

All the students I see and how their practices develop, inspire me every time I teach!

What is your signature move / style?

Bunny Hops/Tuck Handstand is always my go to for a boost of energy or to bring me into the moment! You can't focus on much else when you're trying to hold yourself upside down! Little and often is key with Handstanding, repetition and patience, the things we often find the hardest but when you start to see the change and get the holds it's so worth it.

What makes you, you?

I trained on a scholarship at Theatre school straight out of school, but though it wasn't for me in the end the training and work I did has definitely supported me in who I am today and what I do now.

What does your downtime look like?

Some kind of exercise, because I move to feel healthy and strong and I always feel better for it! right now I'm using the calisthenic rings in the park to build my upper body strength. A nice glass of red to unwind with friends over dinner, spending time with the people who light me up and make me feel alive!

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

You can't be everything to everyone. Stay true to yourself.

If you weren’t an Instructor, what would you be??

I was in Fashion Retail Management for 10 Years so I'd probably still be there working my way further up the ladder!
