19th September 1:30pm – 3:30pm
We talk a lot about getting stronger, for our bones, our metabolic health and, most importantly, for everyday life. But what you do between your workouts matters too.
In this two-hour workshop, we’re giving recovery the attention it deserves. Through a mix of discussion and practical recovery work, we’ll explore how sleep, stress, fuelling, hydration and training load affect how your body recovers, adapts and gets stronger.
You’ll learn how to spot the signs that your body might be asking for a little more rest, plus practical tools to help you recover between sessions, feel better in your body and get more from your strength training.
We’ll finish by slowing things down with yoga-inspired mobility, breathwork and nervous-system down-regulation, leaving you feeling looser, calmer and properly reset.
Because building a strong body for life means knowing when to rest is just as important as knowing when to move.
This workshop is part of a series! Join us for the full lot, or pick and choose the topics that work best for you.
