There is no denying that life can feel heavy these days. And while there is a lot of talk about meditation, breathwork and ice baths (which are all wonderful tools!) there is a certain magic that comes from dancing, especially sober, in the day dancing.
And so, if there’s one thing that’s going to get you out of your head and into your body it’s Dance Cardio. There are MANY physical benefits of this class – it’s great for strengthening your heart and lungs while getting blood pumping around the body. Plus, the mental health benefits are off the charts. It increases levels of the feel-good hormone serotonin and studies have shown it can help reduce stress and ease anxiety.
Our Dance Cardio classes are inclusive and FUN. It doesn’t matter if you get the choreography right, it’s all about leaving your inhibitions at the door, getting lost in the music and the feeling of pure JOY in the room.
Expect easy, repetitive choreography. If you don’t get the steps, it doesn’t matter because before you know it you’ll have moved onto the next one track. It’s high Energy and most certainly sweaty. An amazing alternative to running or cycling!
