What Dance styles influence you?

I’m influenced by both new and old styles of dance from the things you see on TV to the ballrooms of strictly and vogue culture. You can expect a lot of sassy and sensual moves with some basic hip hop and whacking/vogue thrown in!

What genre or theme of music can Framers expect from your class?

I like to use the latest bangers and am always searching for new drops from the biggest stars, I also love a throwback banger!

What’s your Dance background?

I trained as a professional dancer at one of the UK’s best performing arts colleges, Performers College & have tons of experience in theatre, TV and film. 

I also choreograph and teach at professional dance colleges in and around London including Italia Conti, Sharpe Academy and Evolution.

MEET VINCENT MEROUZE

What Dance styles influence you?

When starting out I leaned into the street jazz & latin styles, then found hip-hop fundamentals and started to take as many different styles as I could (Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz), because, just like music videos, I was seeing SO many different styles being represented. That’s what’s exciting to me! And that’s what I bring to the table, a mix of styles that are more commercial based (Street Jazz, hip hop fundamentals, grooves, latin etc) and add some contemporary in there too 🙂

What genre or theme of music can Framers expect from your class?

I would describe my taste in music as bubble gum POP most of the time haha! Definitely a top 40’s playlist, but I loooove using the discovery playlist to find new music to teach to. Think Pop Icons, but maybe not their most popular song BUT that’s still a banger!

What’s your Dance background?

I’ve been lucky enough to work professionally in Brisbane, Australia (MTV), New York, USA (ABC the View & Aretha Franklin), Princess Cruise Lines (Stephen Schwartz ‘Magic to do’), London, UK (West End Tribute, CTC company)

MEET LILY MAE MCGREGOR

What Dance styles influence you?

I LOVE commercial! Bringing you SASSY commercial vibes! Also love hip hop, reggaeton and musical theatre jazz. 

What genre or theme of music can Framers expect from your class?

Normally GIRL POWER Pop/ RnB Anthems! Think Beyonce, JLo , Shakira or something slow and sassy like Genuine and JT! Sometimes I will throw a cheeky musical theatre number like Moulin Rouge or Burlesque. I’m originally from Spain – so sometimes I will dance to Reggaeton music – giving you the Latino holiday vibes! Anything sassy basically. I’m all about encouraging you to feel confident and comfortable in your body when you dance – no matter what ability!

What’s your Dance background?

Trained at Italia Conti Academy. Gained IDTA Dance teacher qualifications. 

Won the ‘Overseas Ballet Dancer Of The Year’ awarded by I.D.T.A, competing against many dancers from around the world. Danced for Harley Davidson events in Spain, Sadlers Wells Theatre in London for The Milly Dowler charity event and as a backup dancer for the show the ‘Wow Factor’.

Also a semi- finalist on the famous Spanish show ’Tu Si Que Vales’. In 2007 a dance member of the show ‘Circus of Dreams’ which was presented in Disneyland, Paris in Fantasyland. A dance instructor for ‘Girl Talk’ and “Top Of the Pops magazine.

MEET CLAIRE LLOYD

What Dance styles influence you?

I’m all about musicality so my routines are always inspired by the song we’re dancing to. I was a ballroom and Latin champion as a child so you can also expect a lot of hip action! I love music video. It’s a chance to get creative and it’s so rewarding seeing my dancers smash the routines and having a great time.

What can Framers expect from your Music Video?

My class is really inclusive. I break everything down and we take it at the groups pace. It’s just about having fun and feeling good but there will also be a little challenge there for those who want it.

What tracks can we expect in your Music Video?

My go to is a sassy pop song. The Pussycat Dolls, Britney, Ariana, Dua Lipa etc. You can see what we’ve been dancing to on my playlist HERE

MEET CALLUM ELSON

What Dance styles influence you?

Commercial dance. Always sassy, always upbeat and fierce. Think Britney Spears, Ariana Grande, JLO. I also love to incorporate moves inspired by Salsa dance and really get people’s hips moving

What genre or theme of music can Framers expect from your class?

Pop-anthems, Dance Music, Pop Princesses /Bad Bitches! Something fast, sexy and empowering. I also like to throw it back though, and include routines to songs people haven’t heard for a while! 

What’s your Dance background?

Graduated from Bird College of Dance in 2017. Danced in shows such as The International Tour of “The Producers”, “Mack and Mabel”, several events, commercials and pantomimes. I’m also super passionate about choreographing so I am always working and looking to work on choreography projects!

MEET TOM STRANG

What Dance styles influence you?

I love to bring a little commercial flair into my routines in ‘Music Video’ with different influences depending on the artist and their own style, whether it’s a little hint of Latin in a J Lo banger, a cheeky groove in a Lizzo track or a hair whip to Britney. 

What genre or theme of music can Framers expect from your class?

I have to choose tracks that make me want to get up and dance! Usually something with a big beat and dance break we can just party to. From what’s just dropped in the charts to an unbeatable throwback that never gets old. 

What’s your Dance background?

Having trained and worked as a professional dancer around the UK and around the world, I want to share that incredible feeling of owning a piece of choreography in an environment where you’re comfortable to let go and just have fun!

You can expect anything from Britney’s Toxic, Madonna’s Vogue, Little Mix Sweet Melody to Lizzo’s About Damn time!

What Dance styles influence you?

I’m influenced by all dance styles and movement in general… communication with body language is as old as time… and is one of our first forms of expression from the beginning of our lives.

What genre or theme of music can Framers expect from your class?

I love music in general. I have an eclectic mix, but in my class popular music makes the most sense to move to… something that most might be familiar with.

What’s your Dance background?

I’ve been a professional performer since the age of 4. From West End, to films, to commercial Pop shows, I have had an incredible opportunity to contribute to the arts creatively.

MEET LYDIA JERVIS

What Dance styles influence you?

I’m influenced by many styles but it’s mostly something commercial/dynamic/sassy! I like to let the music guide me with style & feeling too so I guess it depends on the track!

What genre or theme of music can Framers expect from your class?

I try to keep the tracks fairly current, so expect some new hits! Think Dua Lipa, Mabel, Camilla Cabello. But we love a bit of old school too! JLO, Christina, Britney ofc…

What’s your Dance background?

I trained at a professional dance and musical theatre school, Bird College, and have worked a range of jobs in theatre, tv, commercials and music videos!
