What three songs are on your workout playlist?

Motivation by Normani
Gecko by Becky Hill & Oliver Heldens
Gold Digger by Kanye Wes

What’s your go-to comfort food?

Ha – Chinese! Specifically, duck pancakes, which is a bit naughty because I’m trying to be vegetarian. I stopped eating meat for about eight months last year and have recently started again after Christmas. I’m doing it for my general health and the environment, but I like meat – so I will treat myself on the odd occasion.

When’s your favourite time to work out: morning or evening?

Morning, for sure.

Favourite food to refuel after a workout?

I love a vegan protein shake. I’m lactose intolerant, so I can’t have whey protein. I really enjoy a peanut butter, vanilla, banana, almond milk and a vegan protein. Failing that I do love salmon, brown rice and some veggies.

When did you first get into exercise?

I first got into exercise about four years ago. I had a bad breakup, like everybody else I was inspired to have a fix up: a new body and a new mindset.
I started weight training, because I really like technical side of getting my posture right and everything. Then I got into HIIT training. I used to hate cardio and found the only way I could do it was by doing small bursts of it. I’m more of a runner than I used to be, but I like HIIT and burpees. The lie down at the end of a burpee is massively underestimated.

What are your current fitness goals?

My current fitness goals are to maintain a healthy schedule, so that I don’t fall off the bandwagon. I use fitness to help me keep sane and overall general headspace. I need to make sure I’m doing it regularly, which for me is at least about four times per week.
I prefer classes, mainly because I’m competitive person. I like to be next to someone if I’m running or something. Having that group morale and support, as well as that natural competitiveness is important.

How do you relax?

I just don’t do very much! Relaxing for me is putting my phone on airplane mode and fully tuning out.
I love to go to the steam room and meditate – it’s my favourite way to relax. I can kill two birds with one stone, as it’s really good for my voice too. I’m not very good at meditating otherwise.

What’s your greatest achievement?

Probably winning a Brit Award. I was a Brit School student and one of the things you get to do as a student is go to the Brit Awards. I remember going and thinking I’d love to be one of the artists on stage one day. Four years later I won a Brit with Rudimental was a highlight of my life.

What do you do for fun?

For fun I love seeing my friends. I don’t get to see them a lot because my schedule is crazy. It doesn’t even mean going out or having a particularly wild night. I just love going to eat good food, because I’m a bit of a foodie and love trying new restaurants, seeing friends, having a catch up and a laugh – laughing is so important.

Favourite activewear brand?

Lululemon for leggings. Nike for everything else.
