Curtain twitchers, nosey Nellie’s and over the shoulder phone peekers – this one is for you. Each week we sneak a peek into a FRAMERS diary to see how they FRAME their week. This week we got the lowdown on Hannah to find out where she spends her Friday nights… and which instructor wakes her up on a Sunday morning.
Yin Yoga – Monday 5:15PM in Shoreditch with Jodi
After a heavy weekend, sometimes you need your Monday to feel a little more like a Sunday – Jodi always goes above and beyond in her classes (think meditation cards and rose mist sprays at the beginning of each class). I always leave feeling super zen and stretched out.
Old Skool Bangers – Tuesday 6:30PM in Shoreditch with Charles
Full disclosure, I am a Dance Cardio addict – and this is usually the first Dance Cardio class I hit up every week. Charles always creates such a fun and inclusive atmosphere in his classes, whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time, and you’re guaranteed to leave SWEATY.
Frame Strength – Tuesday 6:45PM in Shoreditch with Fran
I try to switch up my routine regularly to make sure I’m balancing cardio with strength training, so every other Tuesday I try to head to Frame Strength to make my whole body hurt (in a good way!). Fran is super motivating and made me feel so at ease during my first class with her – I used to avoid strength training because I always came away feeling like I wasn’t good enough at it, but that’s never been the case with Fran.
Happy Hour Yoga – Friday 6PM in Shoreditch with Adam, followed by Frame Rave at 7:15PM with BVJ
Before I joined Frame, I would have never believed you if you told me I would one day voluntarily spend my Friday nights working out, but here we are. There is nothing better than a super sweaty combo of listening to great tunes while doing Yoga with Adam, before dancing around to the likes of Livin’ Joy and Armand Van Helden with BVJ – then getting dressed up to head out for the night, filled to the brim with all your happy little endorphins.
Dance Cardio – Sunday 12:45PM in Shoreditch with Isaac
My all-time favourite, only-skip-in-case-of-absolute-emergency, guaranteed-mood-booster class – Dance Cardio with the absolute hun that is Issac Houston. It does not matter how hungover I am or how little sleep I’ve had the night before – you will find me down the front of the class, throwing myself around and singing along until that hangover is GONE. This is the one class I tell everyone to try if I’m trying to get them on the Frame hype, and it works every time.
A LITTLE LOWDOWN ON HANNAH…
HOW MANY MINUTES DO YOU FRAME A WEEK? Around 180-240 mins
HOW DO YOU FRAME? IRL (Shoreditch)
TOP 3 CLASSES? Dance Cardio, Yin Yoga, Frame Strength
WHEN DID YOU START FRAMING? I went to my first Frame class back in 2017 when I first moved to London but started going regularly in May 2021 after getting more into fitness during lockdown.
FAVE FRAME INSTRUCTOR? Isaac Houston
WHAT’S YOUR MOTIVATION TO FRAME? Whenever I used to exercise before I joined Frame, my goal was always weight loss – which would leave me feeling bad about myself and thinking too much about how my body looked, rather than how it could make me feel. Now, I FRAME to feel good about myself – whether that’s feeling strong, feeling confident, or feeling like I’ve learned something new. It took me years to finally see exercise and working out as something that can be fun and a reliable way to feel good, rather than something to dread or simply avoid at all costs – and Frame has played a massive part in helping me.
