Getting strong is for every stage of life. And strength training is one of the best things we can do for our bodies through perimenopause, menopause and beyond, from supporting muscle and bone health to helping us feel strong and confident in everyday life, both now and for the years ahead.
It’s Menopause Awareness Month, so we’re getting the conversation out in the open and getting strong while we’re at it. Expect straight-talking advice, practical tools and plenty of lifting to help you feel confident training through perimenopause, menopause and beyond.
In this two-hour workshop, we’ll explore why strength training is so valuable during this stage of life through a mix of chat and practical work. We’ll get into maintaining muscle, supporting bone health and building strength for everyday life, while giving you the tools to feel confident about how you train.
We’ll also talk about recovery, changing energy levels and how your body might respond differently to exercise, with practical ways to adapt your training to work with your body and what it needs.
You’ll leave feeling informed, empowered and ready to get strong AF for life.
